Created by Christian Dior in 1989 to commemorate the bicentenary of the French Revolution, these rare earrings feature sculptural coin medallions bearing “RF 1789” and “CD 1989” inscriptions. The gold-plated medallions were produced as part of a limited commemorative collection, with medals minted exclusively for Christian Dior Bijoux by La Monnaie de Paris. An exceptional piece of Dior history, where French heritage and the House’s late-1980s jewellery design meet in a highly collectible form.
